The System Fonts Viewer tool allows to scan and preview all fonts installed on your computer.
It provides the exact font names required in the custom Font setting of Anitype.
1. Scanning Your Fonts
- Click the Scan System Fonts button or the Refresh List button.
- When prompted by your browser, click Allow to give access to local font names. Wait a few seconds while the system builds your custom font directory.
2. Filtering & Previewing
- Filter by Name: Type any font name in the search box to filter the list in real-time.
- Custom Preview Text: Replace the default sample text with your own.
- Alphabet Jump Bar: Click any letter on the alphabet bar to quickly scroll to that section.
3. Character Map & Glyphs
- Click the View Glyphs button next to any font to open its character map.
- Inspect supported characters alongside their keyboard shortcuts or Alt-codes.
4. Copying
- Click the Copy Font Name button next to any font name to copy its exact font family name.
- Paste the font name in the Anitype Custom font input, or in any other design tool.
5. Theme Switching
- Toggle between Light and Dark mode using the ◐ button in the control panel.
